the community environment team
The work of the Community Environment Team lies at the heart of our project programme delivery. Working on projects with partners as diverse as the Wildlife Trusts and the PCTs, the Community Environment Team has to field a range of skills and experience to match.
Team Leader Gill Forrester says:
"The realm of community and environmental work is expanding all the time. In fact community and environment are now very much joined together within the larger pursuit of regeneration. Today we are fielding people skilled in habitat management; youth work; health and dietry habits; education; sports and horticulture - to name but a few. Every year the requirements of regeneration throw up new challenges for us, but with a flexible and professional attitude, we're ready to meet those challenges."
