Rob Anthony
Rolls-Royce plc
Rob Anthony is currently working for Rolls-Royce Plc and has done for the last 9 years. Rob was brought up in Gloucester and then moved to study a History BSc at Nottingham University in 1995.
In 1998 Rob started on the Rolls-Royce supply chain logistics graduate training scheme and has remained in the discipline of Purchase and Supply throughout his career. Rob has completed a post-graduate certificate and diploma in Supply Chain Management, qualifying for MCIPS in 2002.
Rob's current position is Purchase Executive – Boeing Programmes and prior to his current Derby based role has worked at Rolls-Royce sites in Derby (1998 - 2001), Berlin (2001-2003) and Bristol (2003-2006).
Rob has maintained an interest in community involvement actively participating in a Rolls-Royce Community Project in 2000 with the Derbyshire Groundwork and Princes Trust, running a residential camp for disadvantaged young people. Rob feels connected to Groundwork due to his twin sister working at Groundwork Acton (2002 – 2004) where she was the Community Involvement Manager for the London Waterways Partnership.
Rob lives in Repton and his main interests are football (Arsenal!) and rugby ( Gloucester ).

Cllr Jack Brown
Amber Valley Borough Council
Jack Brown MBE is a local Councillor for the Riddings, Golden Valley and Ironville ward. He has served on the Council on and off since 1986. He is Chairman of the Planning Board and Cabinet Member for Environmental Issues. The aim of this is to provide a Cleaner, Greener, Safer environment for people of the area to live and work. Jack is involved in several projects including the Cromford Canal , Codnor Park Monument and other local areas of interest. Jack played a large part in the clearing and regeneration of Pennytown Ponds.

Hugh Fenton
Hugh is a graduate Chemical Engineer, a Chartered Engineer, a Member of Institution of Chemical Engineers, a Member of Institution of Occupational Safety & Health and a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor.
He spent working life in chemical & associated manufacturing, initially Production then Works Management and then specialised in Health Safety & Environment Management. He worked for 3 different companies, based in East London, Cheshire & Northamptonshire and had responsibilities in mainland Europe and USA . His last employer was Scott Bader, a Common Trustee company (the first common ownership company / social enterprise) manufacturing resins and polymers in Wollaston, Wellingborough. He was responsible for Health & Safety, Occupational Health, Major Hazards, Environmental Management, Quality Assurance, Security, Community Affairs & the 40 acres estate. He currently has his own consultancy, earning to cover costs of voluntary work.

Cllr Carol Hart
Erewash Borough Council
Carol was born in Derby and was educated at Nightingale Road School , Homelands Grammar School for Girls and then Derby Technical College . She has lived in West Hallam for the last 26 years and has been a member of West Hallam Parish Council for the past 10 years, a member of Erewash Borough Council for 5 years and a Derbyshire County Councillor for 3 years. Carol is treasurer of Magic Million/Magic Laser Cancer Appeal. She is president of West Hallam Junior Football Club and also West Hallam White Rose Cricket Club and a lifelong supporter of Derby County Football Club.
Carol serves on the Executive at Erewash Borough Council and is the Lead Member for Community Services.

Professor John Herbert
Peak District National Park Authority
John has been one of the Parish members on the Peak District National Park for the last four years. He was elected by the Authority members in October 2006 to join the board. One of his duties as a member is to be deputy chair of the Sustainable Development Fund. He also chairs the Interpretation Panel, a partnership group made up of the PDNPA and council and public body representatives from within and surrounding the Peak Park .
John is now semi retired but still works part time on giving lectures internationally on matters concerning Broadcasting and Journalism. His last post before retiring was as Professor of Journalism at Staffordshire University in Stoke-on-Trent . He therefore has a considerable interest in the way publicly accountable bodies communicate themselves to their stakeholders and the wider public. He travels extensively in Europe, Asia and Australia as part of his research work and writes books and many articles on Journalism and Media Communication. He has lived with his wife and family in the Peak District for 24 years

Clive Keble
National Forest
Clive has worked for the National Forest Company (NFC) for the past six years. As Chief Officer Land & Project Development, Clive is responsible for overseeing the forest creation activities of the company. His work brings him into contact with all of the key stakeholders concerned with promoting The National Forest as an exemplar of sustainable development including, central and local government, environmental agencies and charities, businesses and local people. On behalf of the NFC, Clive is a board member of the South Derbyshire Local Strategic Partnership.
Clive has a longstanding interest in environmental matters and holds graduate and postgraduate qualifications in Geography, Town Planning and Management. He is a member of a number of regional and national bodies concerned with forestry and environmental issues.
Clive lives with his partner and two teenage children in Derbyshire. Outside work he enjoys travel, cookery, photography, music and films together with a range of sports and leisure activities. Clive is a parent governor of The Ecclesbourne School in Duffield.

Cllr Brian Lucas
Derbyshire County Council
Retired firefighter Brian Lucas joined Derbyshire County Council nine years ago and is currently serving as Cabinet Member for Sustainable Communities. Brian was at the inaugural meeting of Groundwork Erewash.
He is married with two children and lives with his wife, Barbara, in Ilkeston where he was born.
Brian (58), is also a long-serving member of Erewash Borough Council and is vice-chair of Ilkeston Age Concern.
Having served with Derbyshire Fire and Rescue Service for 27 years based at Ilkeston and Derby , Brian now enjoys DIY and gardening in his spare time.

Nigel Parlor
E.ON (UK)
Nigel was born and educated in South Wales . He moved to the East Midlands in 1987 and joined the GEV Board in 1998. He is employed developing business opportunities in E.ON's Home Installation business. He is currently working to grow gas central heating contract sales, to establish delivery capability for small scale Renewable Technologies and acquiring small/medium sized businesses with proven delivery track records in both traditional and emerging heating technologies.
Nigel has a broad business experience; coming from an engineering background in South Wales to specialise in marketing and commercial project management in the East Midlands . He has an electrical and electronic engineering degree, a masters degree in Business Administration and diplomas in Marketing and Energy Management. He is divorced with 3 children and is a keen sportsman. |
