Groundwork Derby & Derbyshire has around 200 community based projects running throughout the year to support and enhance the local environment. These range from food growing schemes, education projects, digital media, management of local nature reserves and environmental business services.

Groundwork is funded through various streams of income from local and central government, private industry and local community groups. We are a not for profit organisation, this means that the income that we generate or are gifted is pumped back into the local community and environment on the projects that we run.
