Supergrounds is in its third year, with plans for fourth and fifth years. It is currently funded by the RBS Group, in partnership with Learning Through Landscapes. Bank employees are encouraged to nominate schools with whom they have a relationship (i.e. parent, governor etc) to receive an award of £4000 and £1000 worth of support and time from qualified Groundwork staff.

Supergrounds montageA Supergrounds project could involve creating a quiet study area; a pond and environmental study garden; an adventurous activity zone; seating areas; playground markings, or climbing walls - the possibilities are endless!

Supergrounds is the latest project in a 12 year history of Groundwork's commitment to improving and developing school grounds in Derbyshire. To find out how your school could benefit, contact Sam Maw.

Recent Supergrounds include Peakdale Primary School, near Glossop; Findern School and Portway Infants, Derby City.
