BUSINESS RECYCLING

Bag It! Don't Bin It!

Following a successful pilot project recycling cardboard and paper, on 1 st September 2008 Groundwork Derby & Derbyshire expand the recycling collection services for local businesses. As well as paper and cardboard we now collect, PET plastics, HDPE plastic, cans and plastic bags. This new recycling scheme will be run by the Trust as a ‘community business' on a strictly not-for-profit basis.

Our main objectives for the programme are to increase the levels of recycling within the commercial sector and thus reduce the amount of waste going to landfill.
