This training programme will lead to the start of sustainable
community enterprise in the East Midlands
by supporting the work you do.

Advent is a Groundwork East Midlands programme, worth over half a million pounds and funded by the European Union, to help improve standards in sustainable community enterprise across the East Midlands region. The programme comprises a suite of OCN accredited training programmes, designed to help people who are running a social enterprise right now, or are planning to set one up in their community.

Extending Groundwork's remit of promoting the growth of sustainable communities, AdvEnt will provide courses designed to help the social entrepreneur in disciplines such as business planning, helping board members, planning for continual business improvement, managing finances, statutory legislation and legal frameworks, as well as marketing an enterprise to the right cutomers.
